A Lesson Books - second year

Friday 29 and Saturday, August 30, Pesaro, from 21.00 to 23.00, in 2008 Pesaro Festival, the celebration of the Democratic Party in the Courtyard of the civic museums in Piazza Toschi Mosca 29 will host the second edition of " A lesson in Comics ". This is a series of educational meetings but nothing serious and, indeed, fun and original formula: six lectures by authors and lovers of comic books about their heroes, authors, and favorite characters.

  • Brief biography:

    RATIGHER
    One of the most talented Italian underground cartoonists. Bass player in the Pond. Founder of Women Bavosa rec and comics. Collaborate to magazines and Vice Xl of the Republic.

    CLAUDIO NADER
    Born in 1982, worked as a designer and as a cultural worker. Employee of the Municipality of Bologna and the Feltrinelli bookstores, care courses, competitions and events dedicated to the culture of comics, involving the greatest contemporary authors.

    ANDREA SQUARE
    writer, translator, editor (Puntozero press), literary critic, is among the most important names of Italian comics. Collaborate with the most important magazines. Care for the head of Italy Marvel Rat Man by Leo Ortolani and in the Republic of the Classics series of comics.

    LUCA GENOVESE
    cartoonist, co-founder along with the Self Vanzella Comics is one of the most important authors of the new Italian comics. He has published Yellow Beak and Black Velvet. Luca Vanzella


    screenwriter and author and founder of a small publishing house from our own, the Self comics. His latest book is the comic strip drawn by his friend to Luigi Tenco Luca Genovese

    Matteo Stefanelli
    Researcher at the Catholic University of Milan, is concerned with media and comics, he is writing for Rolling Stone. He has written for the Courier and the Republic, working with Lucca Comics. He edited (with F. Columbus), the exhibition "Comics International" La Triennale di Milano.
